How amazing is Chasing the Crayon, an online shop found on Etsy! I am in love with Tracey's personal style and imagination. Hope this work inspires you like it has me. Tracey is a freelance illustrator living on the border of England and Wales and her she creates character led, narrative images. She is inspired by words, stories, poems and very tall tall tales. Work like this is a breath of fresh air! Love it!

Things are super busy at the moment. I am currently working on a couple of logo designs - one for a photographer friend and one for a lady in Adelaide is going to be starting up her own market soon. Once all the design work is done I will show you the final images.

I have also been approached by the Etsy staff to send them one of my products for a wedding event coming up soon called To Have and To Hold!!! Just a little bit excited at the possibility of sending some of my work to New York! The item they are interested in is my pink patterned thank you card. Will try to post all the latest updates as they happen :)

I love the beauty in the artworks of Emma Leonard. There is something so delicate in her work, it makes me feel peaceful after a busy day. Silent, simple and yet so stunning. Love love love.

Angus & Celeste are my latest discovery of amazingness. A partnership formed in Melbourne Australia, Keir Angus MacDonald and Asha Celeste Cato met in 1997 while studying Fine Arts at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. With backgrounds in ceramics, printmaking and sculpture the designers began collaborating and by 2005 Angus & Celeste was born.

“A thing of beauty is a joy forever.” Angus and Celeste combine simple materials with complicated processes to produce nothing less than pure objects of desire. The time and attention to detail involved in every object is obvious as soon as you see it. Producing the highest quality contemporary porcelain jewellery and modern collectable homewares you will find Angus & Celeste in galleries, select stockists and in the gardens and homes of people who enjoy beautiful objects.

If you live in Adelaide, I bumped into their pretty items in Clever Dicks on The Parade. It's definitely worth seeing their work in person!
Hope you enjoy!

Today I discovered the lovely geometric works of Kristy Modarelli, a mixed media artist generally working in sculpture and installation art. Kristy is venturing out of her comfort zone and began 'The Aldas Project: 366 Drawings for Good' which she will embark on for a year. "Aldas" (pronounced ull-dosh, is the Hungarian word for "blessing". I love what she is doing and think her work is beautiful! So glad she stepped out of her comfort zone and I think that is a good reminder for us all - you never know what you can achieve or discover when you step into the unknown.

Hope you enjoy!

I am in love with the colourful and decorative artworks of UK artist/illustrator Hollie Brown. Love her eye for fine details and the way she draws plants and nature. As I looked at her website I realised that I actually gave one of her greeting cards to my twin sister last year! Her works are beautiful and just as lovely in real life!

Hope you enjoy!

How beautiful are the whimsical collages of Bird in A Bunny Suit? The Auckland based art and design label by Bayley Collins has captured my imagination. I love hearing about stories of people who have studied art and have made a career out of it! Hope this inspires you.
